prize draw terms and conditions
1. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over,
only. Those customers based outside the United Kingdom, employees (and their
families) of Acenden and any affiliates, agents and anyone professionally associated
with this prize draw are not eligible.
2. Those who register an account for the "self service" feature on our website,
www.acenden.com/customer, or authorise an employee of Acenden
to do so on their behalf over the telephone (Account Registration) will be
automatically entered into the prize draw. There will only be one entry into
the prize draw per Account Registration. Please note that there can only be
one Account Registration in respect of each account. This means that where
an account is held jointly by two persons, it will be the account holder who carries
out or authorises the Account Registration that will be entered into the prize draw.
3. The start date and time for entries into the prize draw is 11 March 2011 at 9:00.
The closing date and time for entry is 30 April 2011 at 23.59. Acenden will
not accept entries received after this date and time.
4. The prize draw winner will be the first entry drawn at random by an employee
of Acenden on 3 May 2011. The winner will be notified by telephone or email
within 7 days.
5. Upon Account Registration you will be deemed to accept these Prize Draw Terms
and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. All entry instructions will
form part of these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions.
6. The prize draw winner will receive a Sony 46" LED backlit 3D TV (model number
KDL-46NX713) (Prize) no later than 30 days after the winner has been notified
and agreed delivery arrangements. The Prize does not include, and the winner
of the Prize will be responsible for, television subscriptions as well as cables,
accessories and licence. The Prize will only be delivered to an address within
the UK.
7. Where, in relation to the Prize, we make use of any third party name or trade
mark, these are proprietary to the relevant third party. No licence, affiliation,
sponsorship or endorsement is claimed or should be inferred from the use of these
names or trade marks or the use of any photograph of the Prize. Any photograph
used to promote the Prize is for illustrative purposes only.
8. The Prize is non-negotiable and non-transferable.
9. Acenden reserves the right to (a) award an alternative prize or cash of equal
or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances, to vary, amend or withdraw
this promotion on reasonable notice.
10. No personal information submitted by entrants will be passed to any third party
and will be held and used in accordance with Acenden's
Privacy and Cookie Policy.
11. The name and city or town of the winner will be available from the website,
www.acenden.com/customer/prize-draw-results,
shortly after the winner has been notified of the Prize.
12. Acenden accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment
suffered by an entrant resulting from entering this prize draw or by the entrant's
acceptance of the Prize. Nothing shall exclude Acenden's liability for death
or personal injury resulting from its negligence, or for fraud.
13. This prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14. The promoter is Acenden Limited, a company registered in England with company
number 05381786 and whose registered office is at St Johns Place, Easton Street,
High Wycombe HP11 1NL. Any questions and comments should be directed in writing
