Chief Executive Officer
Amany Attia
As CEO, Amany is responsible for leading the business and the executive team, overseeing
company strategy, direction and performance & and driving progress and growth.
Amany has 25 years' experience in the mortgage and securitisation industry. Working first
in the USA then, since 2001, in the UK, Amany was responsible for all related origination,
trading and principal investment activities and all mortgage lending and servicing platforms
across Lehman Brothers Europe in a series of increasingly senior positions.
She is a graduate of Georgetown University, USA, and holds an MBA from Yale University
School of Management.
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Lundgren
Jeff joined Acenden in January 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. As a Board member, and with
responsibility for Acenden’s overall financial functions and risk management, Jeff has driven
significant process improvements and automation, creating significant efficiencies and cost controls.
Jeff has also spearheaded the implementation of a robust governance and control framework, and created or
renegotiated enhanced revenue streams.
Prior to joining Acenden, Jeff worked for the GMAC group of companies. Starting as an accountant at GMAC-RFC,
Jeff was promoted to Managing Director and then Senior Vice President with responsibility for the retained
mortgage derivatives portfolio. For two years, he was also responsible for risk management and strategic
direction. Moving to the UK in 2007 as Managing Director, Finance and Capital Markets, Jeff was responsible
for managing the firm's liquidity position, including sales of mortgage assets and all asset-backed borrowing
facilities. More recently, Jeff was the International CFO for GMAC-ResCap where he led all non-US finance related
activities for the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Spain as well as Mexico and Canada.
Jeff qualified as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG, and holds an Accounting Degree from Creighton University, USA
Director, Business Origination & Development
Alex Maddox
Alex Maddox joined Acenden in August 2012 as Director, Business Origination and Development
from Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of European Residential Mortgage Trading, was on the
board of DB UK Bank and was responsible for the DB mortgages platform in Chester.
With his deep understanding of residential mortgages and capital markets, especially in
the UK and Ireland and strong relationships with investment and commercial banks, government
agencies and investors, Alex is responsible for portfolio acquisition, provision of expert
advice to clients and responsibility for product and service development.
Previously, he was the Head of European Securitised Products for Citadel hedge fund. Prior
to that Alex spent nearly 14 years with Lehman Brothers, starting as a derivatives trader
and finishing as Head of Securitised Products Trading.
Alex is a graduate in Engineering from Oxford University.
Chief Information Officer
Andrew Foreman
Andrew joined Acenden in April 2013 from Experian, where he held a number of senior positions,
latterly as Vice President, Global Technology Services. Prior to Experian, Andrew was Global
Head of IT Service Delivery at SHL Group plc. With a 20 year IT career, his experience includes
increasingly senior roles at IBM, RR Donnelly, and SITA, amongst others.
Andrew is responsible for all IT and technology, with a particular focus on delivery of an
integrated, efficient and scalable operation, backed by sound project delivery and end to
end processes.
General Counsel
Azrine Addruse
Azrine is the General Counsel for Acenden. She joined Lehman Brothers in November 2004 as
Legal Counsel for the Mortgage Capital Division performing as general counsel for the mortgage
origination and servicing businesses in the UK and the Netherlands. She is a qualified solicitor
and before joining Lehman Brothers, spent six years at Lovells in the Financial Services Group,
specialising in retail financial services.
HR Director
Andrew Macdonald
With more than 16 years in HR roles managing companies with 250 to 3,500 staff in the US, Europe,
the Middle East and Africa, Andy Macdonald joined Acenden in May 2011, responsible for developing
a culture and people practices that support Acenden’s desire to be the best mortgage solutions
provider in the market.
Previously, Andy was European HR Director of one of the world’s largest medical device companies
responsible for a team across Europe. Prior to that, Andy was HR Director for a US based medical
organisation, with $7.5bn global sales and 30,000 employees globally.
Andy also worked for the Barclays group for nearly five years, as Head of HR for Barclaycard Western
Europe and Africa. Prior to that he was Head of HR for the Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa region of
Barclaycard International.
